Historical Film & Theater Consulting and Armorer Service
By RTC Consulting, LLC — a Subsidiary of Revenant Trading Company
Have you ever seen a video review where a historian breaks down all the historical mistakes in a movie or show — wrong uniforms, out-of-era weapons, or props that simply didn’t exist yet? While entertaining for most audiences, no production team wants that kind of critique attached to their work.
That’s where RTC Consulting, LLC comes in.
We provide expert historical consulting for film, television, and theater productions, ensuring that every aspect of your project — from wardrobe to weapons — accurately represents the period you’re portraying. Our mission is to help you bring authenticity and credibility to the screen or stage while avoiding anachronisms that can break immersion.
Make Your Film’s “Army” Look Like History — We’ll Train, Equip, & Coordinate.
Comprehensive services from actor training to on-set armorer support and period firearm rentals are all available to make your project look the best. From battle scenes to background accuracy — we make history come alive on camera or stage.
We Offer:
-
On-Site Consulting – Expert guidance during filming or rehearsals to ensure historical accuracy in every shot.
-
Firearm Rentals and Sales – Authentic period-correct firearms available for rent or sale. (Rates vary; deposits required for rentals.)
