“The trusted edge of the Long Hunter and frontiersman.”

Patterned after an original artifact, this Rifleman’s Belt Knife captures the form and function of the blades carried by Long Hunters, militiamen, and fur trappers from the late Colonial era through the height of the American Fur Trade in the 1830s.

Featuring a broad, butcher-style blade with genuine bone grips, this knife serves as a reliable all-purpose tool for camp and trail — equally suited for skinning game, preparing food, or daily camp chores.

Each knife includes a custom-fitted leather sheath, rawhide-covered for durability and historical accuracy. The design is faithfully copied from an original piece displayed at the Museum of the Mountain Man, ensuring both authenticity and function.
