Patch Knife – Wooden Handle

A faithful recreation of a classic frontier blade, this Spanish Regular Belduque echoes the style traded throughout the Southwest during the height of the Fur Trade Era — from Taos to Bent’s Fort. Compact, versatile, and well-balanced, it served trappers, traders, and travelers alike as a trusted camp and trail companion.

Based on an original example in the Museum of the Fur Trade, our reproduction features a solid wooden handle for a comfortable, period-correct grip. The 4¼" blade and 7¾" overall length make it perfectly sized for everyday frontier tasks — from preparing game to use as a handy eatin’ tool around camp.

Each knife includes a hand-finished, period-correct leather scabbard with a sturdy belt loop, ready for authentic use or display in any living history setting.
