“An English-style Bowie built for the frontier.”
This Wood Handle Hunter’s Knife is patterned after English-style Bowies that saw widespread use throughout the Fur Trade Era. Favored by trappers, hunters, and pioneers alike, knives of this type served as dependable companions for self-defense, game dressing, and camp chores along the frontier.
Copied from original examples carried from Colonial America through the 1830s, this knife features a 7¾-inch, full-tang steel blade with a polished finish and sturdy steel bolsters. The smooth wooden handle provides both comfort and reliability, offering a historically authentic look that captures the character of the early American frontier.
