“The trusted edge of the Long Hunter and frontiersman.”
Patterned after an original artifact, this Rifleman’s Belt Knife reflects the style favored by Long Hunters, militiamen, and fur trappers from the late Colonial era through the height of the American Fur Trade in the 1830s.
This knife features a broad, butcher-style blade paired with a hand-finished wooden handle, offering a warm, natural grip that balances comfort and durability. Designed as an all-purpose camp tool, it performs equally well for skinning game, preparing food, or daily camp chores.
Each knife includes a custom-fitted, leather-covered rawhide sheath, crafted for rugged use and historical accuracy. The design is faithfully copied from an original piece displayed at the Museum of the Mountain Man, ensuring authentic proportions and period-correct styling.
